At Western Badminton, we're more than just a club; we're a family of players passionate about the sport. We offer a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy the game.
Western Badminton Club, established in 2017, traces its origins to a small group of friends—Arun, Manesh, Sajith, Sheron, Vijay, Asheer, and Hemant—united by their love for the game. Their passion quickly attracted fellow enthusiasts, fueling our expansion into one of Melbourne's West's premier private badminton clubs, now boasting a vibrant community of over 70 players. We are dedicated to promoting the sport and fostering a friendly, competitive environment, further enriched by the guidance of former Australian player and esteemed coach, Nelson. Our club offers regular social play, competitive opportunities, and a welcoming atmosphere for all skill levels, as we believe in building a stronger badminton community, one shuttle at a time.
The purpose of the association is to promote health, wellbeing, and social connection through the sport of badminton in a welcoming and inclusive environment. We aim to encourage participation from all members of the community, with a particular focus on engaging women, children, and senior citizens. Through friendly games, community events, and casual competitions, the association will serve as a vibrant hub for fostering active lifestyles, building friendships, and strengthening community ties across Melbourne west specifically Wyndham area.
Join Western Badminton to challenge yourself and enjoy engaging matches with some of the best social players Melbourne's West has to offer. We provide a supportive and inclusive environment where you can improve your game, meet new people, and share your love for badminton. Our focus is on sportsmanship, skill development, and creating a vibrant community. Whether you're looking to play casually or compete, Western Badminton is the place to unleash your game.
